Cultivating The Metal Element To Call In and Call Out Sept 26

Myself, Dr. Paige Yang and Dr. Tamsin Lee, invite East Asian Medicine providers and students to a facilitated Heart-to-Heart discussion on "Calling In and Calling Out" when harmful actions need to be interrupted within the profession. 

As a community of conscious and mindful healthcare professionals, learn simple yet impactful ways to navigate challenging conversations on accountability and transparency. This experiential workshop is focused on cultivating the Metal element for better professional communication, specifically interrupting harmful actions.  

Attendees will confidently learn the difference between a "call in" and a "call out", and when it is appropriate to call in or call out a fellow colleague who is causing harm based on unchecked biases. We will have space to share our personal experiences, ask questions, and discuss specific examples of a call in and call out.
